Help Us Bring Humanity Back to Healing
Help us transform how communities understand and support relational health
We cultivate healing within relationships and communities; creating conditions that honor each person's full humanity, their cultural context, and their capacity for growth and connection. The programs we're building demonstrate how this vision becomes reality in schools, communities, and professional practice. This isn't just theory. We're working on the ground with real people—parents, teachers, coaches, healthcare providers, community leaders, and activists—creating programs that demonstrate how relational approaches transform lives.
Your gift supports programs that cultivate healing across schools, workplaces, families, and communities, recognizing that relational health is everyone's work.
In just one year, The Center for IRH has proven that relational health transforms communities:
10 undergraduate and graduate students from top universities across the country—selected from over 200 applicants—trained in relational health during an intensive summer residency and are now bringing this approach into their communities
Over 300 listeners reached through just the first 3 episodes of our Etymologies of Care podcast, sparking new conversations about healing and connection
Multiple programs launched with real impact—working directly with parents, teachers, coaches, healthcare providers, community leaders, and activists to integrate relational approaches into their everyday work
We're building something unprecedented. The Center for Integrative Relational Health grows a transdisciplinary body of knowledge about relational health and stimulates dialogue for creating connection; not to solve problems, but to enable higher integration. We recognize that while mental health is central to psychotherapy, relational health constitutes our sense of mental health. Therefore, cultivating relational health is the work of all community systems: not just therapy, but schools, workplaces, healthcare, families, and every context where people gather.
Every dollar matters. Choose an amount that’s meaningful to you and know that it directly supports this transformative work. Your tax-deductible donation builds a movement that transforms how we understand suffering and healing, creating lasting change that ripples through communities for generations. This work expands what's possible by creating sustainable approaches that honor the full complexity of human healing and enable higher levels of integration.
Our programs transform how people understand care, healing, and their role in community spaces. Here's what one of our undergraduate interns experienced:
"These past weeks at the Center for IRH have been a grounding and transformative chapter for me. Through every week, whether I was brainstorming or helping craft messages for the community, I began to see how health work is never just about services or resources. It's about trust. It's about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, to ask for help, and to believe they deserve it."
"This experience has affirmed for me that healing is not a one size fits all model; it's shaped by culture, history, and the systems people navigate every day. It's so much deeper than surface level issues. It's about the complete essence of a person's narratives and where they're from and how they got to that exact moment in their lives."
"Going forward, I want to carry with me the lessons I've learned here: that care is as much about listening as it is about acting, that creativity is a form of advocacy, and that showing up for others also means showing up for yourself. The Center for IRH has left me with the reminder that healing is a practice."
