2026 Program Spotlight: B³: Being, Becoming, Belonging

A Relational Health Program for Young People and Those Who Care for Them

Community-Based · Year-Long

B³ is a culturally sustaining, trauma-informed relational health curriculum for young people ages 13–17 and the families, caregivers, and practitioners who support them. Built on the IRH framework and organized around the Being, Becoming, and Belonging developmental arc, B³ is designed for implementation in community-based organizations, out-of-school youth programs, foster care settings, outpatient programs, and school-based initiatives.

B³ is developed and operated exclusively by Ahali Consulting LLC under license from the Center for IRH. The Center for IRH hosts the B³ Practitioner Strand: a professional development webinar series for educators, counselors, and community professionals working alongside enrolled young people.

2025 Program Spotlight: IRH Graduate Summer Research Fellowship

This summer research fellowship brought together scholar-practitioners working at the intersection of community engagement, relational theory, and knowledge traditions that dominant research frameworks often leave out to explore the theme Authentic Communities.

Organized around the IRH commitment to cogeneration, the most important insights emerged from the encounter between different scholars whose perspectives were grounded in traditions of knowing that spanned intersectional identities, lived experiences, and academic disciplines.

Fellows brought their own questions, their own communities, and their own ways of understanding to the work. The Center for IRH held space for the encounter and helped to put their innovations into productive dialogue.
